It is highly advisable to have the latest app version installed so that you don`t miss out on the fresh new features and improvements. The Apple Store includes a very useful feature that will check if your device and iOS version are both compatible with the app. Most iPhone and iPad are compatible. Amazing game stunning artwork but it isn t 5 stars because I cannot filter my search criteria by expansions that I have I do not like searching for games and having to wade through a bunch that I cannot join If I was able to have just the games I could get into then I will come and change it to 5 stars Keep up the rest of the great work                 Nubia Gray

Ascension is a fun game with creative mechanics and this version is no different in that regard However I am being completely honest when I say I have never had more issues with any app than this one across four devices over the years I have had purchases not register accounts switch on launch the app refuse to open and it crashing my device entirely On my current device a Moto g6 play the app was working fine until a recent update when it started crashing my device on launch         Tristan Harman

I absolutely love the idea of the game it is fun and challenging It has insane combos and fun interactions with the cards in the game It is also rich in gameplay 9 10 stars i would highly recommend this game I am hoping for a new expansion soon something to keep the game fun and fresh but don t rush a perfect or as perfect as can possibly be game I also liked the rulebook as a story and intro to the new expansion especially when new mechanics are introduced                 Benjamin Adams

I first got into Ascension as the physical game at a local card shop in my town I bought the original deck and I have been building up on expansions over time Nothing beats playing with the physical cards But this app is the closest I can get to playing with all the different cards I want and I dont even HAVE to find someone else to play with I love how quick you can pass time playing this game Totally worth getting                     Cain Reval

Amazing game fantastic expansions but terrible for pass and play Watching every player and AI repeat their turns even with fast animation still wastes so much time and takes away from the experience Having to press continue over and over is annoying when the player icon should already represent whose turn it is When playing online why not be able to customize how many points we can go up to like with pass and play I play with my wife online because we don t like the pass and play             Orlando Lopez

Good concept horrible execution Played offline game The first few rounds were fine but after that it seemed like whenever I played my turn when it was the opponent s turn next it reset everything I did for them like all I did was skip my turn         Scott Decker

I love this So good My ONLY qualms are 1 I cannot sign in on my phone I usually play on my tablet I can sign into the Asmodee section but the Playtek part is all blacked out 2 I cannot seem to purchase any of the expansions I can look at them but no option to buy etc                     Travis Tait

seriously love this game and it s beautiful but since the update it s been nothing but a headache signing in and linking my accounts took literally days of effort notifications don t work anymore no matter what settings I change now despite having my password and username saved for easy login it s telling me my login is invalid seriously i m nearly ready to uninstall from frustration         Ris Anderson

Great game I enjoy playing this along with the physical cards My only complaint is that the AI is either super easy or punishing on certain card sets There are times when i want to play a set that i am not good and the AI is super boring on lower difficulty It would be nice to have an in between AI difficulty                 Jim May

Before the recent update this was fine and I was able to simply use my Google account to play with friends Post update I m not even able to log in I created an asmodee account as instructed but the game can t link to playdek There doesn t seem to be any association with my google games account either so I assume my old games are gone What happened to the google games integration     David Phipps

Really fun game to play with friends online Each expansion I ve bought so far has added dynamics to the game and expanded upon the core gameplay well I just wish there was a way to increase the honor pool in online matches like there is offline matches That would bump my review up to 5 stars                 Derek Petty

A legit deckbuilding game Unlike standard dungeon crawler cardgame nor PvP CCG Ascension sees you building your deck through the entire gameplay from measly 8 apprentices money guy and 2 militias attack guy Acquire powerful cards that provide card draws money and attack and banishment power to trim your deck off the useless cards Or kill monsters to disrupt your opponents or to control the board state                     Haveiszal Faroqie

The latest update and misbegotten attempt at account linking have turned a decent product into breakware I sank too much money into the expansions to be happy or impressed when functionality is subtracted from the app Restore the previous version and do some meaningful QA for a change if you want to keep me as a paying customer Update Now my password is invalid after working just fine hours earlier     m00ng001

was working great before the update after the update my password became invalid so I tried signing up for whatever they make you go through now and then I stopped getting notifications Then I uninstalled and reinstalled and the notifications are still broken that s an essential function so now games are being dropped constantly Please fix this so gameplay is more enjoyable         Victoria Thomas

Really fun and interesting card game Only issue is that when i try to join any online game it brigns me to the downloadable content screen Havent managed to join any online games due to this Is an expantion a requirement for online play             Khronic Painz

The game is enjoyable and fun to play with friends online but they keep breaking the phone notifications for the app so I no longer can tell when I have a game waiting for me to take a turn This has gotten pretty frustrating over the course of two or three years             Steven Whiting
